Title: What Janie Found
Author:Caroline B.Cooney
Reading Level:4.8
Genre: Fiction
This book is about a girl named Janie who a couple of years ago figured out that she had been kidnapped. Her dad has a heart attack and is in the hospital. While he's there Janie is ordered to go through his file cabinets and look for the bill folder{she was put in charge of paying the bills}. When shes looking for it she finds a file that says H.J. H.J. stands for Hannah Javensen her kidnapper. She finds out that her "fake" dad is supporting her kidnapper... so Janie finds out where she lives. Does she find her kidnapper? Read the book to find out.
Ok, well if your a little confused I could understand why. If you'd like to read this book it's 3rd in the series. I really like this series because every book you read leaves you on edge, and wanting to read the next one. This is a great book because it ties up all the lose ends from the first book. All your questions get answered. I hope you read it!!!!

The Salamander Spell is about the two daughters of the Green Witch, she is also the Queen of her kingdom. Her name is Queen Olivene. During this book her daughters are learning about how to be proper princess of their kingdom. It is said though that the daughter that is born first will be the next Green Witch, and she will earn her magical powers. However, during the book the eldest daughter, Chartreuse, is supposed to earn her magic ability. Although she continues to struggle with her magic it turns out that her younger sister, Grassina, is the daughter that will earn her magic, not Chartreuse. Chartreuse gets very angry with her sister when she does not earn her magic. Along with all of this the family has to compete with another struggle, the family curse has been brought upon her mother, before she was her normal self, but now her whole personality has changed, before she was sweet and nice, but now she is mean and nasty.
I would recommend this book to anyone who likes magic and mythical creatures. This book has to do with going through real life problems. With this book comes others but i would recommend that you read this book first, because other wise you will be very lost. The other books are called(and these are in order), The Frog Princess, Dragon's Breath, Once Upon a Curse, and No Place For Magic. I think you would be better off though if you read this book first though. I hope that anyone who decicdes to read these books really enjoys them! I know I did!
