Dear diary im dead is a cool book. it is a about a boy is looking for a homework desk and one day his parents buy him one and when he opens a drawer there is a diary in it and when he opens the diary one day there is an entry in it and it is in his handwriting, and it is from the next day. When he is finished with dinner every night he looks to see if there is another one, but what he doesn't want to know his he is DEAD the diary says DEAD DEAD DEAD and hes been acting weird ever sence.

Finally he is, and tries to fit in with others but when he moves form one foster home to the next encounter's problems along the way. David runs into his mother from time to time. And she threatens him that she will get him back. Does she or doesn't she? To find out you have to read the book.

I recommend this book to someone who has already read "A Child Called It" The Lost Boy is the second book in this series. You have to read this book right after you read "A Child Called It" because it shows how he was saved from his mother. And that's the best part. And then read A Man Named Dave because its his life when he grows up. I'm reading it right now and it's a good book too.
