Lord Loss is a about a boy named Grubbs Grady who’s family is obsessed with chess. His parents find out he’s smoking and ground him, he finds out it’s his sister that “Rats” on him. He decides to give her a piece of his mind by putting dead rodents in her shower rob, it gets him in even more trouble. Wile he’s grounded he notices his family is acting different. His parents unground him to see a so-called ballet concert he refuses and goes over to his aunt’s house. Grubbs goes back to his house only to be scared for life by real live “demons”(note: the demons kill his family)(also note: “Lord Loss” is one of the demons). Then his life gets brighter when his uncle adopts him. Grubbs finds out that his uncle is a millionaire and is living off the money of an ancestor who was powerful magician. He also finds out that he can do magic and so can all the Grady’s (that’s all his relatives). Grubbs also meets an interesting little fellow named Bill- E. While they are walking in the forest they get evidence that his uncle is a werewolf (not exactly, wink, wink). While bill-E and Grubbs are trying to bust his uncle, Grubbs finds out that Bill-E is the real werewolf!!!!!! They try to save bill-E by asking Lord Loss, the demon who killed his family. Lord Loss agrees to help if they play him in a game of chess. The game is played simply; someone versus two demons while someone else plays lord loss in a game of chess, with catch if the person who is fighting the demons dies then the demons can kill the person that is playing chess against lord loss, also if the person playing chess loses the two people die. Well sorry love to tell you the rest but can’t. Find out who wins, who dies, and who loses by reading the book!!


I recommend this book to anyone. If your not convinced to read the book yet then you probably didn’t read the first paragraph. This book will amaze you wile scaring you; it is defiantly one of the best books I have ever read! And Darren Shan is an awesome writer.

In this Alice book, Alice goes through many issues going along with the eighth grade, problems with her brother and her boyfriend. Her brother is also going through some issues too, one of his previous girlfriends is getting married and Alice is one of the brides-maids. Meanwhile one of her bestfriends is going through one of the worst things that can happen in a girls life her parents are splitting!Can Alice get through all of these problems? Well you will have to read it to find out, but if you do want to read it you will have to start the firat book because this is the 13th book in the series.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading fiction book about a teenager going through regular teenage problems. I would also recommend this book to anyone whojenjoys just a really gook book. I think that any girl will enjoy this book. This book is about facing the regular problems in junior high.

The problem is that where they are moving there is white poeple everywhere that don't like different people. The two parents are their two daughters put up with all the dirty looks and rude comments. After a while, all is well, but suddenly one of the daughters, Lynn gets really sick. Their family is falling apart by working 20 hours a day and taking care of Lynn. Will Lynn recover from her horrible illness or will she die? Find out by reading Kira-Kira.

I recommend this book because it shows how hard people work that aren't so fortunate. It's a moving story that you wont want to put down. It's one of my favorite books so far. Read Kira-Kira for a heartbreaking story that will keep you going.

New Moon is about a girl called Bella who is going to suffer for months at end when her "boyfriend" moves. She does not relise though that he only moved so she would be safe. His plan was going smoothly untill a vampire called Laurent tries to kill her, but luckily a pack of GIANT wolves save her. Then when he is killed another vampire is trying to get her revenge. At the same time a pack of vampires are trying to get her to join them by "crossing her over." At the same time still, the "wolves" are trying to get her away from all the vampires. Figure out what will happen!

I reccomend this book because it keeps you on edge the whole time. I suggest that girls read it because there is a lot of romance! I know that it sounds action packed, but at points it's just plain romance. I LOVE this book, it is so well detailed and fun. (Note: This is the second book in the series Twilight). I reccomend you read Twilight too!
