Firestar is now the young leader of his clan, although he has learned a lot about his clan’s doing and ancestors in the mean time. He starts having these weird dreams about these ghostly cats crying out to him. He goes to speak with his ancestors and what does he find out? The cats he has trusted and respected almost all his life have lied to him. They said there has always been four clans but there were once five… the fifth was skyclan. The cats screech at him and finally he decides what to do. Does he leave his clan to help the dream cats but leave his clan weak, helpless and without a leader? Or does he stay with his clan, abandoning all hope that their will ever be the fifth clan, skyclan, again?
I recommend this book to anyone who loves adventure, animals, or suspense. This book is an easy read and one that will make you want to walk to your next class with your nose in a book! It is a thicker book, but goes extremely fast. I think anyone who doesn’t like to read should start reading this series. I hated reading at first, but this book made me a read-alcoholic!
