Island of the blue Dolphins is about a girl who was stranded on an island. She had to learn to survive on her own. The only companions she had was an assortment of wild animals. The book is based on a real person but most of the events are made up around the information.
Island of the Blue Dolphins is a brilliant book. It is a very sad book most times and it really makes you feel for the characters. Even though there is only one person through the bulk of the book it still has a lot of adventure and excitement. I would recommend this book to any one.
