The Lost Boy

The Lost Boy
Author: Dave Pelzer
Reading Level:5.1
Points:9.0
Genre: None Fiction

This book is about David Pelzer, a boy who has been abused by his mother and struggles to be rescued from her. Finally he is, and tries to fit in with others but when he moves form one foster home to the next encounters problems along the way. David runs into his mother from time to time. And she threatens him that she will get him back. But while moving from foster home to foster home David gets in to trouble a couple times. He was sent to juvie by a foster parent. He moves in with these really nice couple when he is about 16 or 17 but while living with them supposedly he turns really cool.the kid who can do anything!

I recommend this book to someone who has already read "A Child Called It" If you haven't read that one then you will be lost. Because then you will never know who David his and what his mother did to him! Once you read "A Child Called It" you would want to read More David Pelzer books! They are really great non fiction books. And you will never get lost in his books!

The Lost Boy is an excellent book and I enjoyed reading it. It was very sad but in the end it was happier! =]
