The Chicken Doesn’t Skate is about a boy who moves back to his Minnesota home. He is new to the school and wants to make friends. He is in the 7th grade, except for science, which is a 6th grade class. His school is having a science fair, and his project is on the life cycle of a chicken. It turned out that everyone loved his chicken, but not him. He didn’t fit in. The hockey team ended up liking the chicken, too. He brought it to one of their games, and they won. The chicken became the team mascot!

I recommend this book because it’s a very good book. If you like science and sports, I think you will like this book. This book is one that I couldn’t put down. Read it. I think you will agree with me.
