This book has three stories in one book. The first book is about a girl that's going to have a baby sister after 16 years of being an only child. She and her parents are very happy about it. They might think the baby might be born on christmas day since they're so close to the Holiday. Her mom's water finally broke before Christmas and they hurried to the Hospital. After the baby was born they found out she had something wrong with her brain and were told she wouldn't live for more than a few days. The day finally arrived that they had to let her go. They watched her stop breathing and were really sad. The second story is about a guy that was cursed with cancer. He liked a girl that often went to the Hospital with a friend to see a guy that worked there. The guy with cancer saw the girl and wanted to meet her. He had told a Doctor about her and the Doctor knew her. One day he called her into his office to talk about the guy with cancer. He told her it would make him really happy if she met him sometime. One day she was alone in the hall waiting for her friend and he comes up to her to talk and to meet her. He talks to her and asks her out. She didn't know what to say because she didn't really know him. Finally she said yes and the date with him was awsome but she only liked him as a friend. Days went by and she went to visit him. The "Ball" was the second biggest dance of the whole year. He asks her to it and she says sure. But then there's other guy that's like a girl's dream and he asks her to the dance too but after. She dreamly said "Yes" and didn't realize she had promised to go with the guy that has cancer. Now she must decide who to go with. And finally the last story is about a girl that's going out with the most popular guy at school. Because of that she's popular too. Her boyfriend wants to do things that she doesn't want to do. So now she's stuck with the thought of being unpopular or do what he wants her to do.

I recommend this book to all girls because guys wouldn't understand the real meaning of it. It's a sad romantic book about three girls that are going throught sad holidays. It's one of the books that once you start reading them you can't close the book again until the end of it. It's one of the best books I've ever read and might be my favorite.
