Hatchet

Hatchet is about a boy named Brian Robenson. His parents are divorced which only makes things harder. He starts out in a sea plane that is heading for his father's house when the pilot has a heart attack. The plane crashes in a lake and Brian is able to escape. The rest of the book is about how he survives in the wild using only a hatchet that his mother gave him for the flight.

I recomend this book to all who like survival and intense stories.

There are more books in the series and I say you should read them in order, they are: Brians Winter, The River, Brian's Return, and The Hunt

I had to read that book last year in class. It's good but in some parts creepy. It also takes a long time to finish because of its complex vocabulary.

That was an interesting book. I really liked it but in some parts it was kind of boring. It was a little sad too. I really want to read the next book in the series. I think I will read it over the summer though because they are really great books. The author is great!

I TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY LOVE THIS BOOK! This book is one of my favorites although, I haven't read it for a long time. Another book like this I would suggest for someone who likes this book is the KAy. It is sadder but amazing story!
